Alternative provision
• 1:1 EOTAS – Children and young people who are unable to attend school, even with support, may receive their special educational provision through Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS), under Section 61 of the Children and Families Act 2014. UMP works closely with RCC SEND case officers to develop tailored physical activity provision as part of each individual’s package. We support children and young people with a wide range of needs, abilities and interests, offering activities at different levels to suit each learner.
• 1:1 in school – We work one-to-one with children in school who may find the traditional learning environment challenging. Through sport and physical activity, we help each child develop skills at an appropriate pace, supporting confidence, focus, resilience, self-esteem, and positive experiences of winning and losing.
• Aiming High Multi Sport Club – is an inclusive activity club for anyone with SEND aged 10 and over. We offer various types of activities covering all abilities and all needs. Activities range from; Archery, Basketball, Badminton, Boccia, Cricket, Curling, Dodgeball, Football, Fun games, Hockey, Multi Skills & Multi Sports, Netball, Parachute games, Pickleball, Rounders, Team building, Tennis, , and lots more. The aim of the group is to get young people exercising and socialising with other young people. You do not need any gym equipment to participate just some water and comfortable clothing.
