Urban Movement Primary is a Community Interest Company (CIC). We work across nurseries, schools and communities to increase well-being, physical activity and the uptake of sport to encourage healthier lives for all.
We are a team of local pro-active, professionally trained, motivational sports specialists committed to improving physical development in children. We provide our active sessions by working alongside your existing staff and bring focussed and creative sessions to your existing curriculum.
Every child has a different physical marker which we will establish and help them reach; whether it is to balance across a beam with out faltering, to ride a bike successfully or to lead their team at dodgeball. We know that if a child has learnt to succeed, at a sport or activity, they will develop as self confident individuals.
Our sessions build an enjoyment of physical activity by encouraging and developing children at whatever level of confidence they are at. The children enjoy themselves and learn and develop new skills whilst being active.
Alongside our National Governing Body Qualification we are trained by SAQ® International; a sports training company which has trained many top sports people.
All of our sessions are underpinned with our belief and training in fundamental movement/physical literacy.
